Modelled on the Soltam K6, designated M120 in US service — one of the most widely fielded heavy mortars in modern military use. Traditionally towed and crew-served, the type is increasingly seen mounted on vehicles for rapid "shoot-and-scoot" deployment. Effective range out to 13 km with standard rounds, extending further with rocket-assisted projectiles.

The zero-charge rounds use only the base ignition cartridge — no propellant increments — for the shortest possible firing range. Included for close-support scenes, "over the hill" targeting, and reduced-recoil firing from light armoured vehicles.
Printed in high-resolution 3D resin for crisp, accurate detail throughout. Suited to modern-era dioramas, mortar pits and resupply vignettes, urban and close-quarters fire support scenes, and vehicle-mounted mortar systems such as the Patria NEMO and Rheinmetall MWS120.
The figures in this set are the product of an official collaboration with 11 Charlie Scale Modelling — the work of a former US Army 11C Indirect Fire Infantryman who served a combat tour in Iraq from 2007–2008 with the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division. His path into scale modelling began with building the Stryker variants he served on, and a search for accurate slat armour led him to Black Ops Models.
What started as customer to supplier grew into a shared passion for accuracy and military history — and now, an ongoing collaboration.
