Designed to suit M113, M151, and many other U.S. vehicles used during the Vietnam War, this kit captures the rugged, field-modified appearance seen on combat vehicles. Multiple barrel and cradle options allow you to depict different service periods, wear levels, or improvised mounting arrangements.

Combat experience in Vietnam quickly exposed the vulnerability of M113 commanders operating the .50 cal from open cupolas. Crews responded by adding field-fabricated gun shields, greatly improving protection and firepower. These modifications were later standardised as the ACAV configuration, widely used by U.S., ARVN, and allied forces.
