This set represents standard U.S. Army grenade ordnance from the mid-to-late 20th century through to the modern day.

The M26A1 “lemon grenade”, first introduced during the Korean War, replaced the iconic Mk 2 “pineapple” grenade and became the primary U.S. fragmentation grenade throughout the Vietnam War.

Typically stored in fiberboard or wooden crates holding 25 to 30 grenades, proper storage and handling were essential to ensure battlefield readiness.

This set includes both an empty and a half-loaded wooden crate for realistic display options.

The M67 grenade, a modern replacement for the M26 series, features a more spherical body and continues to be standard issue in the U.S. military.
