The Desert Patrol Vehicle (DPV), also known as the Fast Attack Vehicle (FAV), was developed by Chenowth as a lightweight, high-speed desert mobility platform. Its 3-seat special operations configuration became closely associated with U.S. Navy SEAL teams during Operation Desert Storm, where speed, range, and firepower were critical.

Typically armed with combinations of M60E machine guns, AT4 launchers, Mk19 40mm grenade launchers, or .50 calibre heavy machine guns, the SEAL-operated DPV became one of the most recognisable light strike vehicles of the Gulf War era.

This conversion kit enables an accurate representation of that operational variant while maintaining compatibility with the Hobby Boss base kit.
