Inspired by real operations
This kit draws on real photography from coalition hilltop positions in Afghanistan, including overwatch points like Pride Rock in Paktya province near FOB Lightning, and forward outposts such as Bari Alai in the Ghaziabad district, where troops established communication masts, mortar positions and observation posts on commanding high ground. These remote positions relied on rapid-deployment mast systems and guy-wire rigging to keep radio communications running in some of the most difficult terrain on earth — the same detail this kit is designed to capture in miniature.
A fitting tribute to the soldiers who held these positions, and a striking centrepiece for any 1/35 scale modern military display.
