This conversion set upgrades the cabin door assemblies and external service ports of Academy/MRC Black Hawk kits, replacing simplified kit components with high-detail cast resin parts. It allows accurate open or closed door configurations and introduces refined structural and interior detail appropriate to operational aircraft.
Developed specifically around Academy/MRC tooling, this set integrates with the fuselage geometry of the listed kits and provides improved scale definition for display or diorama applications.
Designed for the following Academy/MRC releases:
• MH-60G Pave Hawk (Kit No. 2201)
• AH-60L DAP (Kit No. 12115)
• UH-60L Black Hawk (Kit No. 12111)

The UH-60 Black Hawk, developed by Sikorsky and introduced in 1979, remains the primary utility helicopter of the U.S. Army and is widely operated by allied forces. Variants such as the MH-60G and AH-60L serve in special operations and armed escort roles, often featuring mission-adapted cabin configurations and externally visible service panels.
Accurate representation of door interiors and refuelling points is particularly relevant for maintenance, ground operations or deployed staging scenes, where aircraft are commonly depicted with open cabin access and exposed service fittings.
Suitable for:
• Modern U.S. Army aviation builds
• Special operations aviation subjects
• Tarmac or maintenance displays
• Deployed airbase dioramas
